Pete Seeger memorial visit - Sloop Clearwater

After New York on Oct. 15, again, New York, Beacon and another huge, almost incredible thing had been made. Pete did not only taunt me, but because in my soul I had the love of nature, I found it enormous to build the Sloop Woody Guthrie and Clearwater sailboats on the Hudson River as a source of environmental protection and the necessity of community existence. Please, on other pages, the respected inquirer look at the story, because if I write then a novel will be about it. In my dreadful dreams I did not even think I could ever go to Clearwater. With Ferenc's involvement this happened on the 15th! Thanks to him and everyone who contributed to shipping and I do not know about it. It was a great experience to be together with Pete and Clearwater with a loving community this day. Thanks to Susan who loaned my bundle to play if they were asked for it.

We were in the port in time and the boarding time was short. The acquaintances greeted each other and steadily entered Sloop Clearwater. Not only did I know the boat from a computer, but I was there!

Right from the beginning I decided that watching the event is more important than helping the work. _________________________________________________________________________

_____________________________________________________________________________ Soon, as we walked away, R.J.Storm asked if I had a bandage because he wanted to hear what I knew. I listened to Susan's instrument and started playing the song This land is your land. He painted to win his liking and to his chorus of chorus. Later Ferenc told us that if he did not hear that we talked in Hungarian, he would have thought I was American too. He was finally surprised that when he asked for Susan's bandage and sang her songs, she was very surprised.

I did not say goodbye to my new acquaintances and to the ship when, to my great surprise, Ferenc told me to go here in Beacon to a music store where Susan is waiting for us. I thought it was over today, I did not even think about it. It started to darken, but I did not mind the idea. We put the bandage in the trunk and ran to the instrument. Ferenc told me. to take photographs of me at the entrance. The host and his son joined his wife and were greeted with delightful kindness. David was until the death of Pete's maneggere and his instrument maker, CD publisher. When I got in, I was suddenly shocked to see a long neck Vega bend on the wall. Soon he drew it off and put it in my hand that it was the first 1958 Seeger banjo !!! Giant! I can play Pete's first band. An incredible gift !!! I tried to get out of tuning - I would not have taken my soul if I cut off any of the strings of an unknown instrument - but I did not leave myself alone. Hard did not try the strings and I did it well enough. After this land was your land, which really liked David and he was singing vocals with me, very proficient. He made an accentuated gesture, listening to my double angles, his son's attention. Skip to my Lou Susan also arrived and we sang three. I really enjoyed! _________________________________________________________________________
